Noodles with Broccoli, Garlic & Oil

1 package of frozen broccoli

1/2 a bag of whole grain egg noodles

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Sprinkle of garlic powder, salt & pepper

Boil broccoli and noodles for about 10 minutes. Strain and purée on low. Add he rest of the ingredients and pulse until desired texture. Makes about 7 4oz servings. Freeze for up to 1 month.


Chicken, Broccoli & Cheese
2 thawed out chicken breasts
1 package of frozen broccoli
1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

Cut up chicken and boil for 10 minutes. Add broccoli and cook for another 10 minutes. Strain and puree mixture to desired texture adding the shredded cheese little at a time. Pour into containers and freeze for up to 1 month. Makes 6 4 oz servings.

 

Raspberry, Carrots & Quinoa

1 bag of frozen raspberries
3 medium size carrots
1/4 cup dry quinoa

Peel and cut up carrots. Add to a medium size pot. Add raspberries and quinoa and boil for 15 minutes. Strain and puree until thoroughly combined. The quinoa will keep the puree at a chunkier and thicker texture. Makes about 6 4 oz servings. Freeze up to 1 month.

 

Chicken, Kale & Carrots

2 thawed out chicken breasts. ( I’ve been buying the individually wrapped breasts)
1/2 bag of frozen kale
1 bag of fresh carrots

Rinse chicken and cut up into pieces and add to a medium size pot. Boil for 10 minutes. Peel and cut up carrots adding that and the frozen kale to the pot. Boil for another 10 minutes. Strain and put into the food processor and process to desired texture adding water if necessary. Pour into containers.

Makes about 6 4oz servings. Freeze up to 1 month.

 

Apricots, Banana & Avocado

1 package fresh apricots
2 bananas
1 avocado

Remove pits from apricots and toss in a medium size pot with water. Boil for 10 minutes. strain and add to the food processor. Peel bananas and add to the processor. Remove skin and pit from avocado and add to the bananas and apricots. Process to desired texture adding water if necessary. Pour into containers.

Makes about 4 4oz.servings. Freeze up to 1 month.

 

Cauliflower, Kale & Peaches

1/2 bag of frozen cauliflower
1/2 bag of frozen kale

Boil ingredients for 10 minutes and add to food processor. Process until preferred texture and pour into containers.

Makes 6 4oz. or 12 2oz. containers. Freeze up to 1 month.
Garbanzo Beans, Sweet Potato & Apple

1 can organic garbanzo beans
1 large sweet potato
2 gala apples

Peel sweet potato and peel and core apples. Put in a medium sauce pan with water and boil for 10 minutes. Add to the food processor. Rinse and drain beans and also add to the food processor. Purée until desired texture adding the boiled water if needed. Pour into containers.

Makes 6 4oz. or 12 2oz. containers. Freeze up to 1 month.

Blueberry & Spinach

1 bag frozen blueberries or 12oz. fresh
1 small bag frozen spinach

Boil blueberries and spinach for 7 minutes. Transfer to the food processor and blend to a desired texture. Pour into containers.

Makes about 4 4oz. containers. Freeze up to 1 month

 

Turkey, Butternut Squash & Peas

1 frozen bag of butternut squash
1 frozen bag of peas
1 package turkey cutlets (I use Shady Brook Farms)

Cut up raw turkey and boil for 10 minutes in a medium size saucepan. Add 1/2 the bag of squash and 1/2 the bag of peas. Boil for another 10 minutes. Strain and put into the food processor. Blend to a desired texture and put into containers.

Makes 6 4oz. containers or 12 2oz containers. Freeze up to 1 month.

 

Pineapple, Banana & Avocado

1 frozen bag of pineapple or 12oz. fresh
1 ripe banana
1/2 ripe avocado

Boil pineapple for about 7 minutes. Strain and add to processor. Add the banana and avocado as well. Blend until desired texture adding water as needed. Serve or pour into containers.

Makes about 4 4oz. containers or 8 2oz. containers. Freeze up to 1 month.


Zucchini, Apple & Kiwi

1 frozen bag of zucchini or 2 raw zucchini
4 kiwi
2 gala apples

Wash apples and zucchini if you’re using fresh if not dump half of the bag in a pot with the peeled and cored apples and water. Boil for 10 minutes. Strain and put in food processor. Wash and peel kiwi and put in food processor. Process until preferred texture. Add boiled water if need be. Pour into containers.

Makes 6 4oz. Or 12 2oz. Freeze up to 1 month.

*I usually add a tablespoon or 2 of oatmeal to my fruit purees. Depending on your little ones appetite. I use Gerber Organic Oatmeal.


Chicken & Squash

1 small package of boneless skinless thin sliced chicken breast (I use wholesome pantry)
1 package of frozen butternut squash (I use shady farms)

Cut defrosted chicken breasts into pieces and put in a pot of boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes. Add half of the bag of squash and boil for another 10 minutes. Strain out food and put in processor and process to desired texture adding the boiled water to mixture. Pour into your containers.

Makes about 8 4oz or 16 2oz containers. Freeze up to 1 month.


Whole Scrambled Eggs & Broccoli

6 whole eggs
Spray oil (I use coconut oil spray)
1 bag of frozen steamable broccoli

Put bag of broccoli in microwave and cook as directed. Spray heated pan with oil. Whisk the eggs and pour into pan. Scramble eggs until thoroughly cooked. Put broccoli and eggs into food processor and process to desired texture adding room temperature water if need be. Pour into containers.

Makes about 5 4oz containers. Freeze up to 1 month.

Egg yolks & Pastina

8 hard boiled eggs
1 cup dry pastina
Formula, water or breast milk

Boil eggs for 8 minutes. Peel and separate yolks and whites. Set aside whites for an adult recipe. Mash yolks with a liquid of your choice. I used water. Cook pastina for 5 minutes. Drain and mix with yolk mixture.

Makes about 4 4oz. containers or 8 2oz. containers for your little one. Freeze for up to 1 month. Add more liquid for desired texture upon feeding. Like most pasta, pastina absorbs liquid once it settles.

 

Mango Banana Oatmeal

1 frozen package any brand of mango
3 ripe bananas
Infant oatmeal of your choice (I use Gerber Organic)

Boil whole package of mango for 10 minutes. Peel 3 bananas. Put ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth. With each serving you can add 1 or 2 tablespoons of oatmeal.

Makes about 5 4oz. or 10 2 oz. containers. Freeze for up to 1 month.
